7 ways that Jasper’s copywriting software can help you write blog posts in a fraction of the time
Writing a piece of content can be a daunting task for even the most experienced writer. It’s a job that requires creativity and dedication, but also time-consuming research and editing. And sometimes it just feels like there are not enough hours in the day!
Jasper’s AI copywriting abilities will take your ideas and turn them into beautiful blog posts with ease. All you have to do is feed it some basic information about what kind of content you want, answer a few questions on style preferences, then let Jasper go to work.
Here are 7 ways that Jasper’s Boss Mode plan can help you writhe blogs posts faster.
01. Brainstorm blog post topic ideas and get rid of writer’s block
So you’ve decided to finally write that blog post and, to get started, you’ve made yourself a tasty cup of coffee, found a comfy spot on your couch, and have opened up a blank document on your laptop. You’re ready to start writing and then it happens.
Nothing, that is.
No ideas. No thoughts. No clue what to write about.
Writer’s block happens to the best of us.
Brainstorming topic ideas is hard, but Jasper has a blog post topic ideas generator that can help you come up with blog post ideas faster than if you were doing it on your own.
Log into the Jasper dashboard and navigate to “Templates” and select “ Blog Post Ideas”.
Once you’ve got the Blog Post Topic Ideas generator open, all you have to do is enter keywords about what types of topics you want in your article and then hit “generate.” It will spit out a list of ideas based on the words you inputted.
The key thing to think about is who your audience is and what tone of voice you want to use.
Other blog topic generators typically only allow you to provide keywords with no additional context. This often leads to topics and headlines that don’t quite hit the mark. With Jasper, you’ll be able to give it a number of headline examples so it can “learn” how to write higher quality topics that include your keywords.
02. Generate blog titles with one click
After you’ve settled on your blog topic, you’ll want to use Jasper’s blog post workflow to start writing your blog post. This is available in the Boss Mode plan.
The first step is to describe the content you want to create by inputting a few key pieces of information so that Jasper understands what you want your blog post to be about.
This step is important. Make sure that you are as specific and clear as you can be because the quality of what you tell Jasper to write will reflect the quality of output that Jasper gives you.
Enter a clear description and add your keywords. If you’re writing blog posts that you want to rank for certain keywords, then don’t skip this section.
Now we’re at the fun part!
The second step of the Blog post workflow will prompt you to either enter your own blog title or let Jasper generate options for you.

Jasper will give you multiple intro paragraphs options that will all be really great starting points for you to tweak in seconds.
Personally, it takes me a long time to get warmed up to write anything, especially an intro paragraph, but with this tool, I can let Jasper do the hard work of getting the first draft going and all I have to do is edit it slightly. This has cut my writing time in half and I’m not mad about it.
04. Create blog post outline in seconds with help from Jasper
With the blog post workflow you’ll have the basic elements of your blog ready to go in a handful of clicks. At this point you’ll be ready to build out the rest using Jasper commands, which is one of the best features of the Boss Mode plan.
To use the command feature, just type out what you want Jasper to do and then hit Command + Enter on your Mac or Control + Enter on PC.
Create a blog post outline by typing the following command:
Write a blog post outline about [topic]
Then place the cursor at the end of the sentence and hit Command + Enter/Control + Enter.
Jasper will do its magic and create an outline in seconds. If you don’t like it, just undo and run the command again. You’ll be able to tweak it to fit your needs.
05. Whip up a conclusion paragraph before you even write your post
This is another place where you can use a Jasper command to get cut down your writing time. Simply type out the command and Jasper will write one up for you.
For example, you could use the following command:

I had to run the command a few times before it created something that I felt was a good starting point. I’d definitely tweak this paragraph before using it, but it’s a time saver for sure!
06. Write your blog content in less time
With most of your blog components in place, it’s time to start writing your actual blog content. This is where you can rely on Jasper to assist you with this.
Let me say that again, Jasper’s copywriting robot can help you write your content but do not expect it to write your entire blog post for you.
Jasper will help to give you good starter copy but be prepared to edit it enough so that it sounds like you.
Instead of using Jasper commands, we are going to use the Compose button. Unlike the commands, when you use the Compose feature, Jasper is able to “see” all of the content above the cursor and everything in the sidebar.
Now to get started, you’ll want to update the Title and Content description/brief in the sidebar to reflect the paragraph you want help writing. You can also add more content in the text editor so that it gives Jasper specific info to pull from. All of this will help Jasper write better starter copy for you to edit further.
07. Generate your SEO title and meta description
OK, so now your blog post is written and you’re ready for the final piece–your SEO info. You can do this in a snap by using Jasper’s SEO Blog Post Title and Meta Description template.
This is really one of my favorite features because, personally, I always get a bit stuck on writing a strong SEO title and meta description.
As with all copy that Jasper creates, keep generating it until you see something you like and then tweak it until you get it right.
Did I use Jasper to help me write this blog post? Yes, I sure did.
Now, here is where I’ll give you my honest feedback based on using Jasper to write this very article you are reading now. Jasper did not write the sentence you just read. I wrote it. In fact, this whole section is written by me with no help from a copywriting robot.
As I mentioned above, it’s important to understand that when using Jasper to write a full blog post, he’s going to assist you. He won’t write the entire thing for you without needing any edits. You still have to write, but just not as much.
In general, I had to edit this entire blog post, a lot. I also had to write content from scratch throughout. However, it’s much faster to edit an auto-generated paragraph than having to write the entire thing word for word.
Final Thoughts on Jasper
When I first started using Jasper, it was expensive. I signed up for the Boss Mode Plan which was $119/month. Since then, they’ve introduced more affordable options. You can use the Starter Plan and get a lot of use out of the templates, however, if you want to use Jasper to write blog posts, you’ll definitely need to sign up for the Boss Mode Plan.
